The Inclusive Friends Association (IFA) is seeking the services of a consultant to facilitate an advocacy strategy workshop with strategic partners in Benue state.
Background:
IFA is committed to promoting the inclusion and participation of all Persons with Disabilities and dismantling social injustices that diminish their human rights. In line with our mission, we are hosting an advocacy strategy workshop to galvanize assent and domestication of the Disability Act in Benue State.
Objectives:
The primary objective of this consultancy is to equip the advocacy team with pragmatic strategies for engagement and lead participants to develop actionable plans.
Scope of Work:
The consultant’s responsibilities will include demonstrating a comparative situational analysis, developing training materials and training agenda, and facilitating the capacity-building workshop. The workshop will cover various aspects of advocacy, power mapping, stakeholders analysis, including interactive sessions and group activities.
Deliverables:
The consultant is expected to deliver the following:
- Training materials, including interactive slides
- A one-day workshop agenda.
- Evaluation forms for participants to provide feedback.
- Actionable advocacy engagement plans
- A comprehensive workshop report highlighting key outcomes and recommendations for future interventions.
Duration:
The capacity-building workshop will be conducted in a day
Timeline:
The workshop is expected to take place on the 25 January, 2024 at a location to be determined by IFA.
