Advocacy for Disability Cluster
Introduction
Over the years, the IFA has been identified as strong in implementing civic and electoral-related projects due to its previous engagements. The team has recorded significant strides in the electoral space, improving outcomes for persons with disabilities.
The SCALE project, supported by USAID and implemented by Palladium, reshaped the direction of organizations of persons with disabilities (OPDs) across multiple states.
Location
The project was implemented through a consortium across four states:
- Abia: EL-New Hope Foundation
- Adamawa: Global Youth Empowerment and Vulnerable Initiative
- Gombe: Lawanti Community Development Foundation (LCDF)
- Taraba: Center for Peace Education and Community Development
The consortium operates under the unified name Advocacy for Disability Act Cluster (ADAC).
