The Inclusive Friends Association (IFA) and the Nasarawa State Disability Commission paid an advocacy visit to the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Barrister Labaran Shuaibu Magaji (PhD), to discuss the implementation of the Nasarawa Disability Law.

Recognizing the low compliance with the 5% employment quota, the SSG commended IFA’s efforts in advocating for disability rights and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring equal opportunities for PWDs. He also pledged full support for the Advancing Digital Literacy Project and encouraged the Disability Commission to continue enforcing its mandate.

This visit marks another step toward ensuring that disability rights are actively implemented and enforced in Nasarawa State.
