The Inclusive Friends Association (IFA) and the Nasarawa State Disability Commission engaged with the management of Isa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic, Lafia, to promote disability-inclusive education and employment.

Provost Dr. Nurudeen Muazu Maifata praised IFA’s Digital Literacy Initiative and committed to employing PWDs in library and ICT departments. The institution also pledged to modify old structures, create internship opportunities, and strengthen the use of assistive technologies. Additionally, the Provost reaffirmed that students with disabilities receive tuition-free education at the institution.

IFA applauds the Polytechnic’s commitment and looks forward to sustained collaboration to ensure inclusive education and employment opportunities for PWDs.
